Western Digital has extended its range of Passport products with the introduction of new My Passport Essential Portable USB Drives.
The smart, glossy-black drives weigh less then five ounces, and can be slipped easily into a pocket or handbag.
The drives are USB powered, eliminating the need for an external power adapter.
They provide nearly a third of a terabyte of digital storage space, providing plenty of room for rich media content such as songs, high-definition videos or high-resolution photos.
Sync and encryption software is included for easy synchronisation of personal files and Microsoft Outlook data on a PC. The software is compatible with Windows only.
Security is catered for with 128-bit encryption, while files can be quickly located with Google search software on the drive.
Western Digital’s My Passport Essential USB Drives are available now, with the 320GB version priced at £119.99.
