Panasonic’s latest DVD player - the Panasonic LF-P968C - can both play and burn DVDs and can draw its power from a USB port, eliminating the need for a separate AC adapter.

The Panasonic LF-P968C is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows Vista operating system and works with dual-layer DVD+/-R at 4x, single-layer DVD+/-R at 8x, and DVD-RAM at 5x.

The easily portable device weighs just 290 grams and measures 135×135.6×14.8mm. The price has not yet been released.
