Yoggie Security Systems has announced the Yoggie Pico - comprising 13 security applications on a miniature Linux-based computer contained in a USB stick.

The Yoggie Pico, an Intel Pentium level 520 MHz platform, offloads all security applications onto the USB stick allowing Internet traffic to be screened before it is allowed to enter the computer.

Yoggie Pico provides protection from hacking, viruses, malware, worms and other attacks. It also enhances computer performance by saving CPU, memory and disk space.

The device is the most powerful computer to be placed into a USB stick. It manages the 13 security applications, including updates.

The Yoggie Pico is available in two formats: The Yoggie Pico Personal, which is targeted at consumers, and the Yoggie Pico Pro for the enterprise market.

The units will be available from www.yoggie.com and will also be available from September 2007 at PC retailers in Europe and the US.
