Hawking Technology has announced the HWUN1A, a compact USB WiFi adapter with upgradable hi-gain antennas.

The device can boost range fourfold and can also boost throughput up to N-spec levels.

The Hi-Gain antennas make the device ideal for use in an area with a lot of interference, and can be removed and upgraded to Hi-Gain Indoor/Outdoor Antennas to achieve the Maximum Wireless Range and Performance.

The HWUN1A adapter is constructed from high grade material to ensure maximum quality and performance, and is backward compatible with Wireless 802.11b and 802.11.

After running the included setup CD, the user simply connects the adapter to a notebook or desktop through an available USB port.
