Kingston Technology has announced that its new DataTraveler Secure Privacy Edition is now available. DataTraveler is a USB Flash drive specifically designed to fulfil enterprise-level security and compliance requirements.

DataTraveler Secure Privacy Edition is the world’s first USB Flash drive to guaranteed 100% security for data whilst on the move. It includes a 256-bit hardware-based AES encryption and provides an efficient and cost-effective method to secure important data.

It includes a complex password protocol and users are locked-out after ten consecutive failed password attempts.

The drive is protected by titanium-coated stainless steel casings, which will withstand harsh working environments and operating conditions. It is also waterproof and conforms to International Electrotechnical Commission standards. The casing protects against water damage to depths of up to four feet.

DataTraveler Secure Privacy Edition has read and write speeds of up to 24 MB/sec and 10 MB/sec. It is also available in storage capacities of up to 4 GB and is supplied with a five-year warranty and full customer support.
