T-Mobile has announced an HSDPA enabled USB modem identical to a similar device from Vodafone, but costing a substantially lower price.

T-Mobile will sell the modem for as little as £30 compared to Vodafone’s £50, depending on the length of contract.

The company is targeting consumers who don’t have landlines or internet at home but would like to be able to use the internet with their laptop.

Both Vodafone’s and T-Mobile’s modems support Apple Macs, as well as Microsoft Windows.
