TwinMOS Technologies has introduced the USB 2.0 Mobile Disk-M9, which features full support for the Windows Vista ReadyBoost function.

The device features 8GB of storage and a read/write speed 10 times faster than USB1.1. It measures just 75.5 x 22.0 x 8.2 mm and weighs a mere 15g.

Microsoft’s Windows Vista operating system requires high-capacity DRAM modules (Dynamic Random Access Memory).

The operating systems’ ReadyBoost technology can automatically distribute the capacity of external memory devices such as the USB 2.0 Mobile Disk-M9.

This accelerates the operating system as excessive space is assigned for system use. It also reduces hard drive access to extend drive life.

Mobile Disk M-9 also enhances password protection and write-protect switch functions, helping to ensure data security.

The TwinMOS USB 2.0 Mobile Disk M-9 is also compatible with Windows XP, 2000 and below; Mac 10.1+ and Linux 2.4+.
