Kingston Technology Company Inc. has extended its range of miniature USB Flash drives with the introduction of Kingston DataTraveler Mini with Migo.

The DataTraveler Mini with Migo allows users to transform any PC into a personalized workspace.

The 512 MB and 1 GB capacity drives are now available in India through Kingston’s distributors AA Infoways, Avnet India, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways. The 2 GB capacity will be launched globally in mid-February.

At 0.70 x 1.42 x 0.40 inches the DataTraveler Mini with Migo is small enough to be attached to a keychain. The drives are available in red for the 512 MB, light blue for the 1 GB and light purple for the 2 GB version.

The drives, which are designed to Hi-Speed USB 2.0 specifications, automatically synchronize data, keep versions current and leave no trace of personal data on other systems, allowing users to work safely on multiple PCs.

They come preloaded with Migo software for Windows-based systems. Supported email applications are Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 and above; and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5.0.5 and above.

Browsers supported by the drive include Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 and above; and Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and above.
