Synchrotech has started to distribute a 13-port USB 2.0 hub, which can replace multiple hubs with one simple device.
The hub allows flexible tiered configurations and includes a 4-amp power supply and USB 2.0 cable to connect to a host computer. It is backward compatible with the USB 1.1 standard.
The plug and play hub runs in a self powered mode and provides over current protection at each of its downstream ports.
The device supports high speed (480Mbps), full speed (12Mbps), and low speed (1.5Mbps) devices, automatically detecting the speed of connected devices.
The hub comes with a 1 year warranty and is priced at $45.
