Taiwanese Sparkle Computer Company announced the arrival of the X-Link solution today which is aimed at providing users with an USB to DVI adapter for use as needed.

The X-Link resembles a small external USB adaptor that can turn any USB 2.0 port into a useable DVI interface due to its built in DisplayLink DL-160 chip. More remarkably, the X-Link is able to provide resolutions for monitors that are between 1,680 x 1,050 and 1,600 x 1,200.

The link works due to a small embedded chip that is capable using a small amount of power consumption while exchanging data from the USB port to video. It can easily be used for a variety of reasons including gaming, multi-tasking between applications, multi-media video, graphics editing and overall can increase productivity and output.

X-Link is useful for those who want to use more than one monitor at a time but do not want to invest in purchasing multiple CPU’s. Plus, Sparkle claims that one system can use the X-Link to power up to six screens which should be plenty of monitors to fit most computer users’ needs.

In fact, the Sparkle has even taken care of users who are not using monitors that are equipped with VI since each X-Link has both DVI to VGA and DVA to HDMI adaptors to fit all users’ needs. It is also compatible with most operating systems including Windows XP and Vista and Mac OS X.
