AnyDATA Corporation, the manufacturer of CDMA wireless modems, has released the ADU-610 modem - the world’s smallest and fastest wireless USB modem.

The modem, which provides download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, makes wireless broadband accessible for PDAs, notebooks and desktop PCs.

The ADU-610 works worldwide on 3G networks that utilise the latest HSDPA/UMTS technology. On a 2.5G networks, the USB modem will still transmit at 384 kbps.

The device measures a mere 35×93x10mm, features an internal antenna and is certified for PCs using Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) drivers.

The USB modem has its own battery and operates at maximum allowable output power.
