IronKey launches self-destruct USB drive

Permalink: IronKey launches self-destruct USB drive

IronKey has launched an Enterprise Special Edition of its secure flash drive, designed for use on networks where security is a priority.

IronKey: Enterprise Special Edition aims to be the world’s most secure USB flash drive. It uses AES hardware encryption to protect data, without the need to install extra hardware, software or drivers.

A password is required to unlock the drive, which is then verified in hardware. For added security, IronKey will self-destruct if anyone attempts to unlock or tamper with it.

IronKey’s rugged metal casing is also waterproof, even exceeding military waterproof standard MIL-STD-810F.
