Gizmodo has published details of the world’s first pair of wireless USB adapters - the model F5U035 from Belkin.
The product hasn’t yet been officially announced but there are rumours that the adapters are certified for the wireless USB standard, making them compatible with forthcoming wireless USB devices.
The adapters can communicate with each other - just plug each one into a PC for easy PC-to-PC data transfers. Each adapter can also link to a wireless USB hub.
The adapters have a range of up to 30 feet and are expected to retail at $179.99 for the pair.
