Avenir, a European distributor of mobile telephony products will be bringing the smallest WiFi USB adapter in the world to the UK, through a new partnership with Beewi.

Beewi, a new company with its headquarters in France, was launched at this week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Its mini WiFi Adapter 802.11n (BWA211-A1) can be used to connect laptops and computers to networks and wireless peripherals using the new, high performance 802.11n standard.

Avenir will also distribute Beewi’s Nano Bluetooth USB Adapter (BBA200- A0).

This is an ultra-small device designed to remain permanently connected to PC/Mac laptops, providing Bluetooth connectivity.

Beewi’s founder, Thierry Dechatre, said: “Through its expertise in wireless technologies, Beewi is making technologies such as Bluetooth and WiFi more accessible”.
