Samsung plans to launch the SyncMaster 940UX at CeBIT 2007, the annual trade show for information and telecommunications, which takes place in Hanover in March.
SyncMaster 940UX is a 19” LCD monitor which connects via USB rather than via DVI and VGA connectors.
USB connection means that the monitor is simple to connect and disconnect, and multiple monitors can also be installed quickly and easily, without the need for a higher-end graphics card.
A maximum of three monitors can be powered when using multimedia applications, or five for less intensive purposes.
The monitor will be released in May, initially for Windows XP with Vista drivers to follow later.
