Oono has launched the Transmita Vii, a wireless audio system which eliminates the need for cables when moving music from one device to another

Transmita Vii can be used to stream any audio format to most devices - it acts as an invisible cable connecting a device such as an iPod to a home stereo.

The Transmita systems consists of two compact, rechargeable units - a transmitter and a receiver.

The transmitter connects to any music source as long it has either a headphone socket or a USB connection.

The receiving device is plugged into whatever device you are using via an auxiliary socket.

The Transmita units communicate with each other via 2.4GHz frequency, allowing CD quality audio to be streamed. One transmitter can be connected to multiple receivers so music can be transmitted throughout a house.

Transmita Vii is priced at £49.95.
