Corsair has announced the immediate availability of the Corsair Flash Readout USB drive in new 4GB and 8GB capacities.

The Corsair Flash Readout USB drive allows users to label the drive with personal IDs up to 11 characters long. It also displays a pie chart showing the remaining storage capacity via an embedded Bi-stable Cholesteric Display.

These features allow a user to visually see what is on the drive without having to plug it into the PC.

The BCD display retains and displays information for up to one year without the use of a battery.

The drives measure 78 x 21 x 12.9mm and come with a lanyard, USB cable and 10 year warranty.
