Samsung is preparing a successor to its Samsung SyncMaster 940UX 19″ USB 2.0 monitor.

Its newest offering is the SyncMaster 2263DX, which will offer a 22″ screen size and include a DisplayLink DL-160, increasing the native resolution to 1680×1050, compared with 1280×1024 on the earlier model.

The monitors are ideal for anyone who needs multiple displays as they do not need to be installed or configured.

Multiple displays can provide increased productivity as having more windows open, active and viewable at the same time can save considerable time clicking between screens.

Up to five of the SyncMaster 940UX 19″ monitors can be linked, and DVI and a VGA port provide additional compatibility.
