Wireless technology company, Option NV, unveiled the ICON 225, its smallest ever HSDPA USB device, at the Mobile Asia Congress in Macau, China.

Despite its small size, the iCON 225 provides high-performance 3G wireless connectivity for the consumer and prosumer markets.

The USB stick measures just 63 x 26 x 13 mm and weighs 40 g. It provides data transfer rates of up to 7.2 Mbps - fast enough to download an MP3 music file in five seconds or a YouTube video in a minute.

The device features quad-band EDGE, GPRS and GSM data connectivity, and 2100 MHz HSDPA/UMTS.

It allows travellers to browse the internet and access e-mail wherever they are in the world.

Option’s Advanced Receiver with equalizer ensures optimum performance and Zero-CD(TM) technology allows applications, manuals and drivers to be downloaded and installed automatically when the device is connected to a computer for the first time.
