Pinnacle has released the PCTV HD Ultimate Stick, a USB drive which simply plugs into a computer’s USB 2.0 port to provide ‘plug-and-watch’ TV viewing without the need for installation.

The PCTV HD Ultimate Stick delivers HDTV broadcasts via ATSC. It can also support analog TV signals and includes hardware for ClearQAM (unencrypted digital cable) reception.

The stick comes with PVR software pre-installed, allowing up to two hours of TV to be recorded and stored on the thumb drive.

Video editing software and a remote control are also included. This device is available now, priced at around $130.
