Titan Flash Drive Promises Extreme Durability

Created by Slava Tyukalov, the Titan Flash Drive is certified waterproof, anti-shock, anti-vibration, and anti-static to protect data integrity in the most extreme conditions. It also protects data from surges of electricity and can withstand 2,000lbs of pressure.

The Titan is constructed from light and durable graphite/aluminum composite metal matrix, a material used by space agencies such as NASA. For protection against corrosion it is then coated in titanium.

Tyukalov plans to manufacture only a hundred of the drives, which are available in 1GB and 2GB capacities. A 1GB drive costs $147 while the 2GB retails for $247. Both are USB 2.0 certified and backwards compatible with the older USB 1.1 standard.
