Evatronix SA has announced the availability of its pre-integrated USB subplatforms, which are designed to help implement applications using full speed (12 Mb/s) or high speed (480Mb/s) USB connections.

The USB subplatforms make it easy for USB connectivity to be designed into System on Chips, for use in mass storage, audio-video communication and other applications.

Evatronix tested the subplatforms in real USB applications which were developed as reference designs. These can be used as a base for customer’s projects and are available for each subplatform licensee with a full access to a source code.

Evatronix’s USB subplatform includes USB Full-Speed controller or USB Full/Hi-Speed controller; R8051XC configurable microcontroller; and USB software stack optimised for 8-bit architecture.

Programmable features and provided configuration script allows the USB controllers functionality to be tailored to fit a specific application. Evatronix’s USB function controllers are USB IF certified.

Evatronix SA is headquartered in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.
