LG is preparing to launch an 8GB version of its Mini Retractable USB Flash drive.

The slim drive features a retractable connector, which eliminates the need for a USB cable.

There is also no need for an easy to lose protective cap - the USB connector emerges from the end of the case, and the drive can then be plugged directly into a computer’s USB port.

The slim drive measures less than 5 cm in length, so is convenient to carry around. It is 1.7 cm wide and only 7 mm thick, and weighs in at just 7 g.
