New USB thumb drive from Yego

Traxdata has launched a 2Gb USB thumb drive with a Y shaped design. Each fork of the Y is a USB hub, extending the usability of a notebook PC and providing added portable storage capacity.

The drive is ideal for use with small or low-end notebooks, which may have just one USB port for connecting peripheral devices.

This makes transferring data from one thumb drive to another difficult, but the problem is soon solved with the Yego USB thumb drive.

The drive, which measures 69×43.5×14.8mm and weighs 19.5g, has a power-saving mode which is both WEEE and RoHS compliant and reduces power consumption to extend battery life.

The drive also features a partition facility, which allows data to be stored securely with password protection.

Yego’s USB 2.0 thumb drive comes in a choice of colours and includes a 5 year warranty.
