Aaxeon Technologies, Inc has announced the Devolinx line of USB to Serial Hubs. The product is the fastest Industrial Grade USB to Serial Hub on the market, supporting Serial speeds up to 921.6 Kbps.

As many laptops and PCs now come without a Serial port, Aaxeon’s device is ideal for providing connectivity to applications such as Point-of-Sale, ATM/Kiosk, and SCADA. Mobile technicians can also use the hub for troubleshooting or programming industrial instrumentation from their laptop.

The USB to Serial Hubs feature tough, metal housings, optional Surge Protection and Optical Isolation, and are able to power from the USB port of a PC. Drivers are available for Linux and various Windows based Operating Systems.
