Topcom Asia Ltd has launched the Butler 4012, a DECT USB phone with Skype certification.

The Butler 4012 supports both PSTN and Skype calls. The two different types of call are distinguished by distinctive polyphonic ring tones.

The phone supports handsfree operation and up to five handsets. It features a built-in phone book which can store up to 50 names and numbers.

It has a blue-backlit dot-matrix LCD which displays PSTN caller ID or the Skype Buddy List.

The unit’s battery life provides 12 hours of talk time and 120 hours standby time.
