Software company Teslain Ltd has released the Rohos Logon Key v.2.0, which converts any USB flash drive or memory card into an access key for Microsoft Windows, replacing the Windows Login and significantly enhancing security.

A user simply insert the key to sign on. The password is automatically entered from the key, meaning that a complex and therefore secure password can be used with no fear of forgetting it. Login information is also entered automatically from the key.

The key can be configured so that the PC logs off, hibernates or shuts down when the key is removed. One PC can accept multiple keys, and one key can be configured to unlock multiple PCs.

New features provided by Rohos Logon Key v.2.0 include Windows Vista support and network version with 60-day trial time. The key also supports U3 smart USB flash drives.

The program supports all major Windows logon services: Local login, Network/AD login, Novell Client login, Remote desktop login. It does not disable nwgina.dll or msgina.dll activity.

A business license for the key costs USD $35.00, while a personal license costs USD $25.00. A 15-day free trial is available at www.rohos.com/logon-key
