Novatel Wireless is demonstrating a USB 3G modem at the CES technology even in Las Vegas.

The modem has an integrated micro-sd storage slot which appears as a drive and provides storage for downloads.

All the drivers are stored on the modem, eliminating the need for pre-installation. The user can just plug the modem into a PC and start downloading via their 3G broadband account to the integrated card. The device also features GPS.

The integrated drivers are for Windows, Mac and Linux so the modem should work with any PC. It is being sold in the US and Europe via various partners.

In the US, the modem and a data plan are available with Sprint for $79.99.
