Filed under: USB Visual, Wireless USB

DisplayLink, which provides USB connections between computers and displays, is collaborating with WiQuest Communications, to transmit high-quality graphics via Wireless USB.

WiQuest specialises in WiMedia Alliance standardised Wireless USB solutions for worldwide PC manufacturers.

The collaboration will bring together DisplayLink’s USB technology, which allows users to add an additional monitor to a computer, and WiQuest’s production Wireless USB technology.

It will ensure interoperability with complementary USB devices on the market, and improve WUSB data, video, and audio links between notebook PCs and devices, providing high transfer speeds and multimedia features.

The solution will be ideal for wirelessly transferring media rich content, such as photos and videos, between PCs, displays, MP3 players, cameras and other electronic devices.
