Huawei Technologies launched a portable USB data card, the E510, at the CeBIT annual trade show for information and telecommunications technology, in Germany.
The slim, high-speed uplink packet access (HSUPA) stick allows PC and laptop users to access mobile television and broadband while on the move.
According to Huawei Technologies, the device is the first 3G data card in the world to have integrated mobile TV.
Huawei’s USB data card plugs into a computer’s USB port and offers maximum download speeds of up to 7.2mbps and upload speeds of 2mbps.
Details about price and release date have not yet been revealed.
The company also launched a suite of fixed mobile convergence and mobile IP network products at the event.
