SanDisk Corporation has released a Mac compatible version of its secure USB flash drive.

The SanDisk Cruzer Enterprise is the first secure USB flash drive to fully support Apple Mac OS X computers.

The drive provides hardware-based USB encryption to protect against theft or loss of the drive and is ideal for enterprise use as it can be initialised from either OS X or Windows.

The drive is available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB storage capacities, priced from $60 to $300, and is compatible with both OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard) for Macs.
