IronKey has launched the IronKey Enterprise Server v2.0, which allows IronKey Enterprise flash drives to be managed remotely, improving mobile data security for users of the drives.

Ironkey’s flash drives, which are tailored for enterprises and government organisations, offer automatic encryption, active malware defenses and identity services.

Server v2.0 offers enforceable security and user device recovery, and helps ensure that organisations comply with audit and regulatory requirements.

Newly introduced automated provisioning and lifecycle management makes it easier to carry out large scale deployments of the drives and reduces the total cost of ownership.

The flash drives can be locked and destroyed remotely, offering peace of mind that data remains secure, even if it is lost or stolen.

IronKey recently won a major contract to supply flash drives to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
