Gefen, a manufacturer of A/V equipment, cabling, and home theatre accessories, is planning to release a 4-port wireless USB hub.

The wireless Ultra Wide Band (UWB) receiver takes up one USB port on a computer, and the hub can operate up to 60ft away from a dongle connected to a PC.

The system provides transfer rates of up to 70 Mbps and the wireless hub supports both USB 1.1 and 2.0 and works on both Windows PCs and Macs.

The product can be pre-ordered for $399 and will be shipped when it is released.
