California-based flash memory specialist, Corsair, is introducing the 32GB Flash Voyager and Flash Survivor USB drives at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008 in Las Vegas.

The drives have sufficient capacity to hold over 16 HD movies, or a complete series of a TV show, and are ideal for backing-up, or transporting large amounts of data.

Flash Voyager is all-rubber, while Flash Survivor has a rugged, aluminium casing, making them suitable for use in harsh environments.

The drives are bootable, and can therefore be used to store full versions of operating systems and applications. They come with a lanyard, security software/driver preloaded, and USB extension cable.

The drives are available immediately, with the Corsair Flash Voyager 32GB drive retailing at $229.99, while the Flash Survivor 32GB retails for $249.99.

The drives are available through Corsair’s authorised distributors and resellers world-wide.
