SanDisk has announced the Cruzer Titanium Plus USB flash drive, which makes it easy to back up data.

The 4GB drive features automatic online backup and is compatible with Windows Vista, XP and Windows 2000 operating systems.

The user simply plugs in the USB drive and copies files to it. The files are automatically backed up to a password protected online account, managed by BeInSync.

Data will be backed-up immediately if the computer if connected to the internet, or the back-up process will be activated the next time the computer is online.

The drive comes with 6 months of service included, but users will then have to pay $30 a year for the online backup to continue.

The Cruzer Titanium Plus drive also features a crush-resistant metal case, optional password protection and AES hardware data encryption.

The drive should be available in the USA in March 2008, priced at $59.99.
